Portraits: The Anderson Family
As if Susanne and Andrew couldn’t get enough of me, they booked me the very next weekend for a fun family shoot!
Location: Clarence Town Park
Portraits | Christmas Pictures
A friend of mine, Caprice, asked me to do some Christmas pictures of her son and nieces for presents this year. With the tree all decorated, and two of the three children ready to go, we began the shoot. I was able to sneek shots of the youngest one when she wasn’t crying, and by the end we got some full blown happy pictures of the three of them. Here are some of the highlights.
Portraits | Jenn
I love getting e-mails from lovely people! Jenn (a former model of mine when I was into doing that sort of things around here in Buffalo) contacted me to get some professional pictures done. I’ve photographed Jenn and her bff Raelean quite a few times. Both were volleyball players back in HS, and went on to do it in college. They are the super sweetest girls you could ever meet.
Ironically, Jenn just finished her Master’s at Canisius (where I work as an instructional designer). We chit chatted about what she hopes to do with all of her many talents and interests. Next up for Jenn: traveling, hopefully to warm weather and the West coast.
Jenn, about 4 years ago.
Jenn, now.
Portraits | Faaria the Belly Dancer
Every once in a while I get some pretty neat requests. I knew when I got an e-mail from Faaria that I just had to do this. Faaria is a belly dancer and instructor here in Buffalo. You can visit her lovely site here. I found out a lot of information about belly dancing and Faaria through the site, which turned out to be a great character study for me. The photo shoot took place at the Harlem Road Community Center, where Faaria delivers some of her classes. It was the perfect space for large backdrops, lots of costumes and lots of movement. Here are some of the highlights.
