Vendor: Mindy’s MyStationery

I photographed a wedding a few weeks ago that was amazingly coordinated, Tara and Michael’s. The initial A was a constant theme; it was on the tables, favors, on the floor and on the cake. The perfect fonts were used, and all of the pieces were layered on this textured pearl purple paper. I knew a professional was involved! I found out later that Tara’s friend Mindy had custom designed everything, from the invitations, to the custom brewed beer tags, to the programs. I wanted to share her business information with you. She is phenomenal. Click here to check out her custom stationary site.

Change the World with Tom’s Wedding Style Shoes

For those of you that don’t know about Tom’s shoes, they are changing the world. For every shoe that is bought, another pair is donated to a child in need. One for one.

Tom’s now has a whole line of shoes with the bridal party in mind. If having your girls march down the isle in Tom’s isn’t what you expected, at least consider it for the reception. Everyone kicks off their shoes for something less traditional to dance in. Tom’s sparkly shoes are sure to look great on the dance floor.

Tom’s has both men and women’s sizes. For the guys, shoes come in all the fashionable tux-type colors: black, gray and burlap.  Help give back here.

Planning a Wedding in Buffalo: What to Plan First!

Caterina and Richard I’ve had quite a few years experience photographing weddings in Buffalo; I love every minute of it! However, I see my weddings couples go through a lot of stress during the first few months of planning. What should be planned first? Who should I ask for help? Who can I rely on? These are all great questions, and ones that can have multiple answers. I’m just gonna throw out there what I found works. These may, or may not work for you- depending on your family or situation, but I think they will be helpful, nonetheless.
